Wine Club Policy

In order to join the Purple Hands Wine Club and purchase wine you must be 21 years or older.

Wine club releases happen in Fall (September/October) and Spring (April). Aficionado members receive an extra allocation in the Winter (January).

The Taster wine club level receives a Fall and Spring allocation and 15% off.  Remaining members in this club are grandfathered in. No members are able to join this wine club level. If a Taster member, cancels or upgrades their wine club, they cannot rejoin the Taster level.

The credit card attached to your membership will be charged automatically for the wine club allocations.  You will receive emails leading up to the wine club charge to let you know when the charge will be happening.

Purple Hands Winery requires a one year minimum commitment for the Wine Club.  For Artisan and Connoisseur this will be 2 wine club allocations. For Aficionados, this will be 3 wine club allocations.  Memberships renew automatically. Requests to skip an allocation or cancel your membership must be received prior to the wine club allocation processing date.

Cancellations or refunds of the allocation can not happen after they have been processed. It is the wine club members obligation to notify Purple Hands of any account changes before the allocation processing date (account changes include, billing and shipping address, phone number, email and payment information).

If you are a Ship-To wine club member, we ship using UPS.  Wine Club allocations are subjected to weather holds depending on the weather at the time of shipping.  Expedited shipping can be arranged if needed.  An adult over 21 must be present at the time of delivery to receive the wine allocation.

Members are responsible for all shipping costs, including those incurred for address changes or returned shipments. Aficionados receive complimentary ground shipping.  Connoisseurs receive $30 flat rate ground shipping.

We recommend shipping to a UPS location or a business, to insure someone over 21 will be there to accept the wine.

Members are responsible for any sales tax charges that apply to the shipment of wine (varies by delivery state).

If you are a Pick-Up wine club member, we ask you pick your wine club allocation up within 6 months of the processing date.  After 6 months, if you have not picked up your wine club allocation, a monthly $10 per order storage fee will be automatically charged.  If we are unable to process the storage fee for two consecutive months, your wine will be considered abandoned.  After 1 year, you are no longer guaranteed the wine club allocation wines, and they will be replaced with current releases.

In order to allow as many members into wine club pick-up parties, club members are only allotted 2 tickets per pick-up party. If the member cannot make it to the party, we cannot extended these tickets to non-members.
